Dear Bronx Academy of Promise Charter School Families,
As we begin the 2023/2024 school year, I would like us all to approach each new day with an attitude of gratitude. One of the most positive lessons to be learned from living through a worldwide pandemic is that we should all be grateful that we have survived to see another day, watch our children grow and learn, to savor the beauty of nature, and to experience the joy of interacting with others.
My staff and I are excited to welcome back our students on Thursday, September 7th, to hear the sound of students walking through our hallways, laughing with each other, talking with their teachers, and engaging in their academics and school activities.
With our shared attitude of gratitude and pride, I am confident that we will work together to educate, communicate with, and celebrate our students. I know that together we can support our students. Please continue to communicate with our teachers and administration when you have a question or concern, reach out to our guidance counselors when necessary, and encourage your children to always stay motivated to work hard and do their best.
In closing, I would like to say that I am grateful for the support and understanding my staff and I received from all of you. I could not be prouder of our BAOP family that has continually supported our students, the school, and each other. My staff and I are filled with excitement as we anticipate the safe return of all our students to the building on September 7th!

Al comenzar el año escolar 2023/2024, me gustaría que todos abordáramos cada nuevo día con una actitud de gratitud. Una de las lecciones más positivas que se pueden aprender de vivir una pandemia mundial es que todos debemos estar agradecidos de haber sobrevivido para ver otro día, ver a nuestros hijos crecer y aprender, saborear la belleza de la naturaleza y experimentar la alegría. de interactuar con los demás.
Mi personal y yo estamos emocionados de dar la bienvenida a nuestros estudiantes el jueves 7 de septiembre, para escuchar el sonido de los estudiantes caminando por nuestros pasillos, riéndose entre ellos, hablando con sus maestros y participando en sus actividades académicas y escolares.
Con nuestra actitud compartida de gratitud y orgullo, confío en que trabajaremos juntos para educar, comunicarnos y celebrar a nuestros estudiantes. Sé que juntos podemos apoyar a nuestros estudiantes. Continúe comunicándose con nuestros maestros y la administración cuando tenga una pregunta o inquietud, comuníquese con nuestros consejeros cuando sea necesario y anime a sus hijos a mantenerse siempre motivados para trabajar duro y dar lo mejor de sí mismos.
Para terminar, me gustaría decir que estoy agradecido por el apoyo y la comprensión que mi personal y yo recibimos de todos ustedes. No podría estar más orgulloso de nuestra familia BAOP que ha apoyado continuamente a nuestros estudiantes, a la escuela y entre nosotros. ¡Mi personal y yo estamos llenos de emoción al anticipar el regreso seguro de todos nuestros estudiantes al edificio el 7 de septiembre!
